LASER ENGRAVING

We offer a personal friendly service, with professional experience of laser engraving onto a wide range of materials including Stainless Steel, Anodised Aluminium, glass, coloured laserable plastics, and even onto leather, acrylic and wood. The ideal solution for machine tags, and plant machinery labelling.

We are able to offer serial numbering or individual marking, assisting you with engineering projects large or small, which can be undertaken easily as single engraved items.

Laser Engraving, laser etching or laser profiling, can all be used for part marking, bar coding, or manufacturing processes including personalised items, corporate gifts, shop displays and executive gifts. Our precision laser engraving is often seen on dials, scales and rulers as part of the engineering market.

Our latest addition is our Fibre laser. Primarily used for machine parts, most jobs requiring a high degree of detail can be done with this. Its fast paced time is ideal for a quick turnaround on projects big and small. One of the unique benefits to this laser is the various tones and shades it can mark on different metals. We have an example of a stainless-steel tube which shows a colourful spectrum offering more than just  black-coloured engraving. We also have a rotary attachment which can help with small, rounded objects. The size of the machine is limited, however, so do get in contact first to check if we can accommodate you.

SERVICE DETAILS

Precision laser marking across a variety of materials be it round or flat

Flatbed laser with a working area of 600 x 300mm. Additional rotary attachments to assist engraving rounded objects. Please contact us to discuss your project and ensure there will not be any limitations. We can mark Stainless Steel and offer etching into various other materials including some on the more unusual side of things such as Limes & Oranges! (Yes really!)

More compact than our flatbed CO2 lasers, the Fiber laser is a fast and efficient way for delicate marking and engraving. A small bed area of 100 x 100mm however less restricted on the shape of the project in question.

Common Materials

Stainless Steel

Can produce a solid black and permanent marking to stainless steel making it ideal for tools and scales.

Acrylic & Laserable Material

The benefit of having two of our own CO2 lasers goes beyond just engraving and etching. Some material can be laser cut into unique shapes for different purposes. Being able to cut to shape allows us to set a lot of our work up with custom jigs simply made this way. With laserable material, we have covered many different projects and we consider it a useful solution for brushed effect plaques, door and desk signs, and a smart addition to any project.

Anodised Aluminium

When engraving anodised aluminium, our lasers leave a long-lasting white bleaching effect. This can be effective on darker anodising but we have found it works well on many different colours for a crisp & bold look.

Wood

Wooden engraving with our lasers creates an attractive burn effect unique to the type of wood and its grain, and  achieves a high level of detail without it being lost in the grain.
